Band Instrumental Music

Jeremy Chung is a graduate of the University of Southern California  and earned a Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Music Education.  He has  been the instrumental music director at Laguna Beach High School since  the fall of 2010.  Under his direction, his instrumental music groups  have received “superior” ratings at every music festival attended since  1997 and have won many competitions at local, state, and national  events.
As a performer, he was a member of the world renowned USC  Trojan Marching Band and the Disney “All American College Band”.  He was  also a member of Disneyland’s “Trash Can Trio” percussion group.  In  2010, Jeremy received “Teacher of the Year” while teaching in the  Capistrano Unified School District. He was also given the L.A. County  “Apple Award” for his teaching and dedication to young musicians in  Southern California in 2000.  He currently is an active musician in  southern California as a performer, adjudicator, and clinician. jchung@lbusd.org
